Commitment & Practices:
Please ensure your child is fully committed to attending all practices and games before trying out.
If selected for the team, practices will begin the following week.
● Schedule: Practices are tentatively planned for immediately after school until 5:30 pm.
During October, we will practice more frequently to learn and master multiple cheers,
chants, and dances in preparation for the season opener in early November. Once routines
are polished, the practice schedule will lighten. The practice schedule will be released after
the team is announced.

Expectations:
● Athletes must attend both school and practice in order to participate in games.
● Timely pick-up after practices and games is required. Repeated late pick-ups may impact a
cheerleader’s ability to remain on the team.

Games/Performances: Cheerleaders will support our school by cheering at all home basketball
games. At each game, the team will also perform a halftime routine to showcase our skills and
school spirit.
